Qur’ani Irshadaat uses third-party Quran data, translation, recitation and tafsir sources. This page identifies the sources used by the Quran Library.

QURAN TEXT

Arabic Quran text

The Quran Library retrieves Uthmani Arabic text through the Al Quran Cloud API using the quran-uthmani edition.

Provider: Al Quran Cloud / Islamic Network.

TRANSLATIONS

Translation editions

The current Quran Library includes editions identified by the underlying provider, including:

  • Urdu — Jalandhry
  • English — Sahih International
  • German — Abu Rida
  • French — Hamidullah
RECITATION

Arabic reciters

The current Quran Library offers recitation editions including:

  • Abderrahman Al Sudais
  • Mishary Rashid Alafasy
  • Abdul Basit (Murattal)
  • Maher Al Mueaqly
  • Mohamed Siddiq El-Minshawi (Murattal)

Recitation audio is requested through the Al Quran Cloud API.

TRANSLATION AUDIO

Spoken translation audio

Where available, the Quran Library uses spoken translation audio editions exposed by Al Quran Cloud. The current implementation maps Urdu to ur.khan and English to en.walk.

Some languages are text-only. When spoken translation audio is unavailable, the site does not label Arabic recitation as translation.

TAFSIR

Multilingual tafsir

Tafsir content is loaded from the open spa5k/tafsir_api dataset, pinned by the Quran Library to version v1.2.1 and delivered through jsDelivr.

Available tafsir books vary by language. The Quran Library shows the book and language selected by the visitor.

Qur’ani Irshadaat provides these materials for Quran learning and reference. Translation, recitation and tafsir works remain attributable to their respective translators, reciters, authors, publishers and rights holders.

If a source provider changes, becomes unavailable or requires updated attribution, Qur’ani Irshadaat may update the implementation and this credits page.
